I was planning to write and publish this blogpost in late October 2024 but due to some relationship problems, mental health issues and emotional distress I delayed it for a bit. If you have taken high school algebra class, I’m sure you are familiar with the Complex Numbers. Those of you who dealt with 3D rotations before might’ve heard of Quaternions, the 4D numbers. In this blogpost, we are going to aim for something in the middle, a number system with one real and two imaginary components, I call these, the “Triplex numbers”, with the form $a+bi+cj$ where $i$ and $j$ are the basis elements.
